Thanksgiving 2023: Jon & Valerie Stewart

Comes a story this Thanksgiving of rebirth, of following a dream and believing in oneself.   

Two great friends of mine for over 15 years now, both in their mid-fifties, proud parents and grandparents. 

Faced one day with that mid-life crisis of unemployment, no-fault on either end, just things, you know.  Hold no blame, no animosity, please. 

I’ll borrow some wisdom from legendary basketball coach, John Wooden: “Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out."  

And so comes now, a story to give thanks with, may your table be filled with family and love and your heart with compassion and caring.
